Job Description
A financial services firm in New York City is looking to add a new Investment Operations Analyst to their Real Estate team.


Responsibilities


The Investment Operations Analyst will:


  • Perform other duties, as needed
  • Prepare reports to track Real Estate Investment Trusts (“REITs”) and other publicly traded real estate companies
  • Help manage due diligence work streams and drafting of investment recommendations for prospective RE investments
  • Assist in preparing financial analyses for prospective and existing RE investments, including market research, asset and investor level cash flow projections and sensitivity analyses
  • Monitor existing RE portfolio including tracking and coordinating reports, financial statements, correspondence, and legal documents
  • Draft monthly, quarterly and annual internal reports and presentations covering the activities of the RE program
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual performance and exposure reporting and reconciliation
Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance and/or a related field
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Solid analytical an research skills
  • Highly organized
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Background working with Real Estate Investment Trusts (“REITs”)
  • 3+ years of Investment Operations experience
  • Strong attention to detail
