Job Description
What to Expect
The MRB Inspector will be responsible for receiving and confirming defective material. Other responsibilities include diligently tracking parts, troubleshooting, and dispositioning material. Developing relationships with other cross-functional departments to drive disposition of parts and evaluating the concern versus the return.

What You’ll Do
  • Systematically marking parts special interest for expedited return to engineers andtechnicians
  • Maintain 5S and MRB best practices
  • Disposition defect material and sort material by viewing work instructions
  • Perform database transactions to manage the tracking, receiving, storing of failed parts
  • Route parts back to Suppliers, Quality Engineering, or Recycling based on guidance andinstructions
  • Conduct audits and support corrective actions based on defect reason
  • Maintain data integrity, accuracy and efficiency of defect material throughput andsystematically logging information
  • Provide data input and output reports to assist in driving improvements
What You’ll Bring
  • Ability to work independently and keep on task in a fast-paced environment without directSupervision
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build strong partnerships across variousorganizations within Tesla
  • Ability to maintain a safe working environment
  • Ability to familiarize with the MRB database systems
  • Technical background and troubleshooting knowledge
  • Ability to perform repetitious duties while standing for long periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be detail orientated, reliable, have good initiative, determination, and quality focused
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a forklift
