Quality Engineer-Manufacturing Jobs

The Quality Engineer provides quality planning, control and improvement support for product development, manufacturing, purchasing and customer complaints. Provides such support to ensure Bennington quality meets and/or exceeds customer expectations.

• Implement quality control systems for raw materials, purchased parts, work-in-process, and finished goods

• Assist in the development of processes and procedures to ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met

• Perform investigations of quality problems and recommend corrective actions based on data

• Compile and write training material and conduct or assist in team member training sessions related to quality

• Drive problem definition and root cause

• Confer with design staff concerning product design and tooling

• Promote and utilize lean and quality tools

• Develop and initiate standards, methods and documentation for inspection, testing and evaluation

• Initiate corrective action requests and track until completion

• Manage more than one project at a time

• Lead and/or participate in various project teams
