Quality Auditor

KBR is seeking a Quality Auditor to support Huntsville, AL, Lexington Park, MD, Oklahoma City, OK, and Dayton, OH. This is a remote position, but the candidate will need to reside in one of the four locations listed above.

• Complete actions, as assigned, related to issued CARs and Improvements
• Complete audit reports, including documentation of audit non-conformities
• Issue CARs (corrective action requests) and Improvements
• Manage internal quality audit program
• Contribute quality-related improvement projects and tasks
• Perform remote and on-site internal quality audits
• Perform other quality-related duties as assigned
• Provide training and guidance on RCCA (Root cause and Corrective Action) best practices
• Support AS9100 / ISO 9001 certification requirements

Required Education/Experience

• Familiarity with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
• Undergraduate Degree with 2+ year’s industry/quality experience or 6 years’ experience in lieu of degree
• Current QMS or Aerospace auditor accreditation from a recognized body, i.e. Exemplar, IRCA or Probitas
• In lieu of Aerospace auditor accreditation, evidence of formal training in the current revision of ISO9001 & AS9100
• Ability to travel on occasion (no more than 10%)
• Experience performing internal audits and completing associated paperwork

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Management content in SharePoint
• Working under Government contracts
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Visio
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
• Managing a multi-site audit program
• American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certifications
