- Analytic responsibilities
- Opponent: prepare and present statistical data on opponents as directed by Offensive Coordinator and Defensive Coordinator/Head Coach
- Self-Scout: Prepare and present statistical data regarding Vanderbilt offense and defense as directed by Offensive Coordinator and Defensive Coordinator/Head Coach
- Opponent: prepare and present statistical data on opponents as directed by Offensive Coordinator and Defensive Coordinator/Head Coach
- Any additional items as assigned
- Self-Scout: Prepare and present statistical data regarding Vanderbilt offense and defense as directed by Offensive Coordinator and Defensive Coordinator/Head Coach
- Scout personnel as needed
- Research and prepare scouting reports on opponents, including but not limited to depth chart, statistics, and analytics
- Playbook assembly and distribution
- Represent the interest and image of the head football coach, the organization and Vanderbilt University.
- Game day duties, including but not limited to play chart, analyzing and recording tendencies, and data input
- Fully comply with NCAA, AFCA, and SEC ethics and procedures
- Game plan opponent breakdown & self-scout
- Assist in recruiting efforts, including official and unofficial visits, as needed and permitted by rules and regulations
- Organize scout cards and scripts for practice/walk-thru
- A Bachelor’s degree is necessary .
- Previous experience in Division I football is preferred .
