Quality Control Associate Jobs

Reporting to the Corporate Director, Quality and Regulatory Affairs
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for streamlining the operations in the tower and ensuring the area is appropriately sanitized.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Conduct quality control of raw materials and ensure that results meet specified requirements;
Conduct quality control of manufactured products and ensure that results meet specified requirements;
Maintain and update a reference sample bank;
Prepare quality documents and certificates of analysis;
Participate in the investigation of manufacturing problems and suggest solutions to solve problems;
Assist the GFSI Coordinator with SQF Program requests;
Participate in the monitoring tasks of the quality assurance programs in place (HACCP and SQF);
Participate in the implementation of standards by following always established instructions and by playing a role of coach with other employees;
Participate in continuous improvement projects;
Know and enforce the BPH (Good Hygiene Practices) / GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) of the industry;
Comply with company policies / instructions related to the quality system in place (Food Safety Plan / SQF);
Perform other related duties
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in food science, chemistry or other related field or equivalent experience;
1 to 3 years of pertinent experience in the aromatic industry or in the food industry;
Ability to identify basic tastes;
Knowledge of good manufacturing practices in the food industry;
Knowledge of HACCP and SQF standards.
