We are looking for a Quality Assurance Professional with 3-10+ years of experience to join our Agile development team. We know QA specialists are happiest when they're working with the latest technology...you will have that opportunity to work in a wide variety of exciting Microsoft and other web-based technologies in cloud environments.
At NetEndeavor, you will collaborate directly with product owners, designers, UX, developers and executive team members to gain understanding of new features, dependencies, and technical details. You will be responsible for developing and executing manual and automated tests, investigating and assisting in problem analysis, testing delivered software components and solutions, and providing training and technical mentoring.
You will be relied on to solve problems, build models and ensure code changes meet business requirements and fulfill user needs. Responsibilities
- Report and track software defects and prepare test reports
- Review and understand customer and system requirements
- Design and execute tests on high-volume, scalable, enterprise-level, web-based applications
- Assist in defining acceptance criteria
- Provide training and technical mentoring
- Research issues reported by users
- Work in a highly interactive, team-oriented environment
- Participate in system design, architecture, planning, stand-ups, code reviews and retrospectives
Basic Requirements
We seek to hire individuals with a good blend of experience in the following:
- Experience with developing test plans and writing test cases
- Knowledge of object oriented languages and principles (C# preferred)
- Experience with white-box and black-box testing
- Enthusiastic about learning new things and taking on new challenges
- Highly organized, detail oriented, and able to work autonomously with minimal direction from high level requirements and managers
- Effective collaboration and interpersonal skills
- 3-10+ years of experience in software quality assurance testing
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with an ability to understand and articulate complex projects
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment
- Ability to understand the big picture, look forward, anticipate problems, and assess risk
- Passion for technology and developing and growing software QA skills and knowledge
- Proficient with Microsoft, SQL and major web technologies
- Solutions driven
- Experience with functional, regression, integration, performance, security, and acceptance testing
- Ability to brainstorm with other team members and leverage constructive feedback
- Familiarity with Microsoft development technologies and environments
- Understanding of software development lifecycle
- Demonstration of technical problem-solving abilities
Preferred & Nice to Have Experience, but Not Required
- BS degree or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated leadership
- Strong unit testing skills
- Analysis of data sources, requirements and business rules
- Load testing and migration strategy for production environment
