Quality Assurance Manager Jobs

Tucson Embedded Systems, Inc (TES-i) is looking for highly diligent candidates with excellent attention to detail for the role of Quality Assurance Manager. Quality Assurance Managers are responsible for monitoring and evaluating internal production processes, examining products to determine their quality, engaging with customers, and gathering product feedback, among other duties.

Quality managers occupy important positions and will need to be highly conscientious and responsible workers, as defective products could cost a company significant loss.

Quality Manager Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and evaluating internal production processes.
• Producing statistical reports on quality standards.
• Rejecting products that fail quality standards.
• Ensures the Management Review process is implemented and maintained.
• Developing quality control processes.
• Improving production efficiency and managing waste.
• Ensures the policies and procedures are created and adhere to contractual, ISO9001, and AS9100 requirements.
• Understanding customer expectations of and needs from a product.
• Engaging with customers and gathering product feedback.
• Evaluating the final output of products to determine their quality.
• Manages nonconforming product and corrective and preventive actions through closure.
• Reporting to upper management on quality standard issues.
• Familiarity with DO-178C Requirements.
• Manages supplier qualification and trending of supplier performance.
• Conducts/Leads internal audits.

Quality Manager Requirements:

• Data analysis and statistical aptitude.
• Quality control certification is advantageous (CQA/CQE).
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Degree in business administration, computer or software engineering, or relevant field.
• 5+ years of experience with a QMS
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal skills.
