About The Role
Hims & Hers is seeking an Quality Assurance Operations Associate who will report to the Sr. Manager Quality Assurance and will have responsibility for creating and implementing quality assurance (QA) standards for Hims & Hers products. As a Quality Assurance Operations Associate, you will be located in the Gilbert, Arizona facility and will focus on driving continuous improvement efforts that benefit and delight the Hims and Hers customers. You will provide support to Operations, work with external manufacturers and suppliers to ensure products are produced to Hims and Hers standards.
You Will
  • Develop and review standards, policies, and procedures for all functions and departments involved with the compounding and manufacturing of Rx products and Warehouse activities
  • Coordinate with internal team members in supplier selection, verification and validation processes
  • Manage inspections of goods as well as segregation and quarantine of defective items until the disposition of the product is determined
  • Support external manufacturer non-conformance investigations & issue SCAR’s to improve Hims & Hers quality processes
  • Provides support to quality, operations, and pharmacy teams when involved in troubleshooting and process optimization
  • Provide expert guidance in critical quality areas for product launches, which include but are not limited to testing, documentation, ensuring compliance to regulatory requirements and warehousing principles
  • Build an SOP library for core quality processes for Rx products and warehouse activities
  • Schedule and perform quality audits of compounding pharmacies and raw material vendors. Reports findings to the appropriate teams
  • Participate in investigations for process deviations and product quality failures and assist in the implementation of corrective actions, while ensuring CAPA’s are closed in a timely manner
  • Support the execution and implementation of a Corporate Quality Management System (QMS) software
  • Collect, document, and prepare samples for shipment for testing
  • Monitor all activity on the compounding floor to assure adherence to company protocols, policies, procedures, and applicable regulations
  • Retain Life Cycle Management
You Have:
  • Knowledge of cGMP requirements and FDA regulations would be a plus.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and analyze records to draw valid conclusions utilizing a risk based methodology
  • Ability to effectively present information, identify problems and resolution to address questions from managers, clients, customers, and regulatory agencies
  • Some travel may be required
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, specifications and procedures as well as monitor processes and metrics
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in the pharmacy industry, pharmacy technician experience is extremely relevant
  • Bachelor's degree in a Life Science, Chemistry or related discipline preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-pace environment
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in the area of Quality Assurance/Control, Warehouse Operations, and/or Compounding

Outlined below is a reasonable estimate of H&H’s compensation range for this role.
H&H also offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSU’s) so that H&H employees own a piece of our company.
The actual amount will take into account a range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and location.

An estimate of the current salary range is
$60,000 — $70,000 USD
