Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance lead with experience in managing QA services delivery for our client. You will be responsible for managing a team of QA engineers and will work with internal and client developers, business analysts and project managers to ensure quality of build prior to release.
- Work with Developers & Business Analysts to facilitate defect triage, re-tests, etc.
- Effectively communicate functional requirements to development team; follow-up to drive issues through the SDLC process
- Responsible for the analysis of project scope as it relates to business scenarios and requirements to develop a QA test plan.
- Participate in various stages of the software implementation life-cycle
- Ability to train and mentor other team members including client resources
- Responsible for coordination, testing and deployment of client application releases.
- Responsible for overall management of reported issues, test case development and test execution progress.
- Collaborate closely with other cross-functional IT teams to support delivery of software solutions to address business challenges and opportunities.
- Work with business analysts and QA engineers to create detailed test cases across one or more client accounts.
- Coordinate, plan and setup test automation where required.
Qualifications required for the role:
- Experience with Agile methodology
- Experience with test automation tools and processes
- Experience in managing a team of QA engineers
- Ability to play a leading role in a client-billable resource team
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance Testing and Customer Support
- Life or Property and Casualty Insurance knowledge is a preferred
- Technical know-how of JIRA software is required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with use cases and requirements management tools
- 4-year degree in a Computer Science, Business or a related field
- Financial application software and/or industry experience is preferred
- Demonstrate initiative in starting and completing multiple projects
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to interact and manage team members across locations in a virtual setting
