Summary of Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Collect requirements, write comprehensive workflow documents, develop, and maintain repository of test cases.
• Perform tasks efficiently and work together with team to ensure project success.
• Creates and manufactures test data needed for execution or database population.
• Write and review test strategies, test plans and test cases based on the agile stories and/or product requirements.
• Participate in efforts to share testing technology and expertise within the company.
• Participates in tool analysis, creates proof of concept models, and makes recommendations to support the tools selection process.
• Interact with SDETs, QA members and technical leaders to understand systems and component specifications and recommend changes to facilitate efficient and effective testing.
• Strategize, lead, and execute end to end integration and performance testing for various complex programs and initiatives.
• Interact and collaborate directly with software developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure proper development and quality of service applications and products.
• Lead and Implement automation and performance testing frameworks to support integration SOA web services.
• Write functional and automated/performance tests and test harnesses application and services under test.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Quality assurance lead delivering large enterprise SaaS projects
• 5+ years of experience in designing and developing test automations with demonstrated programming language and script development skills.
• Understanding of Cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS)
• Experience with industry standard QA practices for both Agile and Iterative SDLC
• 5+ years of experience in testing SaaS products/Projects (manual or automation)
• Understanding of key QA metrics and defect management
• B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or equivalent preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Experience in Data driven test automation.
• Experience developing or working with open-source automation tools and frameworks
• Experience developing high quality automation.
• Demonstrated collaboration on diverse teams including project managers, business and systems analysts, technicians and developers related to quality assurance roles and responsibilities
• Experience in testing end to end HCM process using SAP or Success Factors preferably Canada and US Payroll Processing.
• Experience working with Agile SDLC frameworks i.e. SCRUM, Kanban, DevOps.
• Experience in testing applications on Cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS).
• Ability to handle numerous concurrent activities under time constraints and effectively prioritize and execute assignments in a highly dynamic environment
• Knowledge of application software development life cycle concepts, lean and agile best practices, environment and configuration management, test management methodologies and processes
• Experience with Jira including custom filters and dashboards. JIRA Admin experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and act decisively under pressure.
• Experience in querying schemas and relational databases.
• Experience with quality assurance testing related to release management
• Proficiency in, at least, one programming language (preferably Python and Java). Experience in object-oriented development programming.
• Demonstrate knowledge using version control and defect tracking methods, including an understanding of associated tools
• Ability to improve individual job skills through training, self-research and self-study
• Knowledge of mobile digital technologies related to testing
• Strong organization and planning skills
• Knowledge of testing best practices and approaches for both custom developed and consumer off-the-shelf packaged applications
• Understanding of Cloud computing services including Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
• Experience to programmatically test products; measure test coverage; develop automation, profiling, and performance/load testing tools.
• Experience working in distributed SOA environments.
• Team player who exhibits effective interpersonal skills with a collaborative style and exceptional business savvy

Strongly Desired

• 4+ Years of experience with SAP/Success Factors/ECP systems.
• Experience developing automated tests using or executing in cloud environments.
• Experience with Jmeter, Tosca, Selenium
• Experience working in a production DevOps team.
• Experience designing and developing integrated tests between components and across domains.
