Job Description
Overview:
Full time position for a growing Cardiovascular Tissue Bank located in the Northwest Suburbs.
Possible 2-Day work from home, after 6 months
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for review of all relevant medical documents pertaining to donor, including but not limited to, medical charts, autopsy reports, EMS reports, serology/culture reports, and other relevant medical documents for donor eligibility.
  • Responsible for making sure company is compliant with adhering to Good Tissue Practices established by FDA 21 CFR Part 1271, AATB and company procedures and policies.
  • Communications to recovery groups including, but not limited to, request for additional records/clarifications or recovery records.
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager.
  • Responsible for quality review of documents generated during recovery, processing, cryopreservation, labeling, storage and distribution of tissue.
  • Responsible for making sure company adheres to Quality Management System (QMS) and all documents associated with program.
Qualifications:
LPN or Registered Nurse(RN)experience preferred. Quality experience QA/QC in healthcare/pharma/biotech. Experience reviewing medical charts a plus.
