Quality Assurance Engineer - Manual/ Automation Testing

Summary Requirement :
We're looking for talented, motivated engineers to join our office in Chandigarh with the special mix of technical ability, curiosity, and an analytical mind to help us ensure every line of code we push to production as part of the IT applications is of the highest quality. As a Quality Engineer, you would be part of the QA team working closely with development, support, operations and product management teams
Responsibilities :
- Create test cases and test plans with a very good understanding of product features and business process. Complete assigned test cases and test plans in a timely fashion.
- Deliver all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, load and system testing.
- Design, develop and run test suites using Quality Test tools and frameworks to perform functional testing of the Finxera application.
- Responsible for high quality of assigned projects from software Quality Testing through final User Acceptance Testing.
- Participate in product and feature design with developers, product managers, and business systems analysts
- Diagnose, track and manage quality issues to resolution
- Perform both black box and white box testing of the Finxera applications as required
- Actively support our agile framework - including establishing scrum team roles, tools and practices
- Follow QA team processes and standards and actively contribute to process improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Must Have
- Should have scored 70% & above in 10th and 12th grade.
- A Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related software engineering discipline, or equivalent
- 2+ years- experience in Quality Assurance of cross platform web based software products (manual or automation).
- Exposure in testing complex backend applications with clear understanding of end to end flow
- Experience in Database testing, should be able to write queries
- Experience in API testing, preferably with Restful API
- Expertise in any standard test case and defect management tool like ALM,Bugzilla,JIRA,TestRail etc
- Take ownership of end to end QA deliverables
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast paced agile environment; ability to motivate people, instill accountability and achieve results
- Possess good oral and written documentation skills and be able to interact with other team members to deliver fast with quality
- Be a self-starter with the ability to deliver on time with quality and also handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Establish a solid relationship with other team members to understand the vision, requirements, and priorities of our business partners.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills to identify programming errors or inconsistencies.
- Knowledge of Data driven automation framework
Good to Have :
- Experience in BFSI domain
- Knowledge of Mobile Application/CRM testing
- Having Experience in any automation tool like SELENIUM(JAVA)/Fitnesse/Cucumber etc
- Knowledge of API/UI/Job performance testing using Jmeter or equivalent tool
- Support continuous integration process improvement and innovation
