Description:
Rollins School of Public Health in the Department of Health Policy and Management is looking for a temporary Analyst (Research Assistant) to work closely with the lead analyst and Principal Investigator, on a qualitative research study.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • OR (B) satisfactorily completed a course in Qualitative Data Analysis (at Emory’s Rollins School of Public Health: GH525; or equivalent).
  • (A) Experience performing qualitative analysis as part of one or more qualitative research projects,
  • Completing a more general course in Qualitative Methods will not be considered sufficient to meet qualification since the project has already completed its interviews and data collection efforts.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
  • Productive analyst staff will have the opportunity to be co-author on related manuscripts submitted for publication in academic journals.
  • The team has interviewed providers at dialysis facilities across the Southeast U.S. about deciding which patients they should refer to a transplant center for evaluation as kidney transplant candidates.
  • The Analyst staff will work with study transcripts and use qualitative analysis software (MaxQDA) to explore interview data further and help to answer specific research questions.
NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University location as needed. Emory reserves the right to change this status with notice to employee.
