Qa Technician Jobs

Position Description: SUMMARY:
QA Technician supports all operations that fall within assigned department responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop, manage, and monitor all aspects of the QA function
Implement and maintain safety procedures with the production team members
Train the team members on the critical points of the client safety system
Ensure quality, safety and consistency of all company products
Maintain all safety related initiatives including but not limited to safety programs and incentives
Review and maintain label books for new products or changes
Comply with QA Programs assisting employees with compliance
Maintain calibration programs
Monitor GMPs
Maintain Pest Control programs
Investigate Customers complaints if needed
Manage rework teams or pallet configuration teams relating to product quality and traceability
REQUIRED SKILLS
Ability to learn and use high skill level of accounting and manufacturing systems used by the company in addition to Label View Label Programs
Usage of high skill level of the ETQ system
Maintain KPIs for Operations to help meet production specifications and product standards, as well as reduce overall costs, maximize productivity and profitability
Safety Knowledge
Familiarity with FDA HACCO programs
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
EDUCATION
High school diploma and/or GED equivalent
Minimum 6 Months experience in Quality Control environments
