We are seeking a QA Specialist to join our team!
The QA Specialist assists with implementing and enforcing SOPs and cGMPs. This individual will provide administrative assistance to support the research analysis, synthesis and experimentation on substance for such purposes as product and process development and application, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and improvement of analytical methodologies.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures that SOPs and cGMPs are used correctly throughout the company’s operations.
- Ability to work in a cross functional team environment, R&D, Manufacturing and Engineering.
- Manages the development, execution, monitoring programs of any corrective action plans.
- Assists in reviewing the effectiveness of the Quality Management Systems and continually provide improvement recommendations to the QA Manager.
- Works closely with other department to determine the root cause & provides corrective actions as the result from the investigation in a timely manner.
- Follows procedures, templates and company guidelines to drive high quality products.
- Assists in the group/individual training of company employees on cGMPs and in the implementation of new and revised SOPs.
- Assists with the internal/external audits.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- Creates/revises SOPs for the QA Department, as well as company-wide SOPs.
- Assists as needed with the customer complaints investigation.
- Initiates investigation for the Event Report.
- Assists the QA Manager with the day to day activities for the QA unit, as needed.

- Communication Skills (Oral & Written) - able to speak clearly, concisely and accurately in order to ensure effective department operations.
- Computer Skills (Intermediate or Advanced) Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Honesty/ Integrity - follows through with company values and providing exceptional quality products.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, operating and maintenance instructions, drawings, specifications, safety rules and guidelines, etc.
- Functional working knowledge of cGMPs.
- 4+ years of related work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
