Provide support for ISO documentation by writing Work Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures and Training Aids under direction of the Quality Manager.

Facilitates production activities to meet quality/safety specifications and regulatory standards by providing training, auditing, troubleshooting and incident management.

Knowledge of federal and state food industry regulations.

Maintain and keep current all shipment documentation in compliance with all record keeping requirements.

Job is Remote can be located anywhere in the USA

This position pays between $13.20 -$20.94 depending upon experience, location market and company guidelines.

Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release from database. SOP's, tariff book, internet or customs.

Adhere to all international importing and exporting regulations.

Perform data entry, complete track, and trace duties

Perform freight tendering/carrier selection (with use of routing guide)

Monitor carrier performance and compliance issues

Provide freight pay and claims resolution

High school diploma or equivalent

The ability to work several sides of an issue to achieve resolution, including carrier, supplier, freight pay and internal customers

Experience with warehouse management and inventory management software

Solid time management skills and ability to work well under pressure

Experience with Microsoft Office, including intermediate to advanced Excel skills

Execute the QMS according to documented policies and procedures, meeting the requirements of the ISO9001 quality standards

Cultivate productive relationships with customer representatives and manage Corrective Action Requests (CAR)

4 years of experience in quality and inventory in a distribution or warehousing environment

Three to five (3-5) years related data entry, billing or accounting experience

Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, business or related field preferred

Two (2) years TruckMate experience

Excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work under time pressure and produce results within strict deadlines

Bachelor’s Degree but will consider equivalent work experience.

Two years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance and/or Manufacturing or Engineering.

Monitor email for service requests and respond within 30 minutes of receipt.

Clearly and accurately detail, monitor and track all work through events logged and resolved in government furnished ITSM tool (ticketing system).

Diagnose and resolve customer reported system incidents, problems, and events. Keep users apprised of incident and resolution status.

Implement industry recognized ITSM processes to support organizational increase on high reliable IT services.

Provide status and outage communication via the phone system, email communication, and applicable web sites within 15 minutes of identification.

Coordinate and/or maintain call back lists, escalation lists, special events, etc., with appropriate customer representative and COR.

Monitor and document room temperatures throughout the facility as assigned by management

Place and remove hold tags under the direction of the Quality Assurance Manager

Monitor compliance to sanitation and GMP requirements for all team members

Demonstrated effective Food Safety knowledge (PCQI, allergens, sanitation, GMPs)

Basic computer skills are required

Previous experience in a food and/or manufacturing industry

Bachelor’s degree in physical science and/or food industry experience preferred.

1-3 year of general work experience required.

Prior food production operation experience preferred.

Previous experience within high-speed industrial environment preferred.

Ability to read and understand MSDS, operate manufacturing equipment, and knowledge of industrial technology a plus.

Conduct qualitative and quantitative testing of beverages, syrups, and raw materials throughout the entire production process.

Packaging Operations experience a plus

Perform technical review of cGMP documentation for completeness and compliance to cGMPs as outlined by governmental regulations and internal procedures.
