Job Summary
Responsible under close supervision of the receipt, stocking, dispatch, and handling of materials in the stockroom. Follows established procedures to report discrepancies.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Complies with the Working instructions on handling and storing o static and/or temperature-sensitive components and dated products (expiration dates). Maintains and updates all required records on these components.
• Performs all required functions for inventory procedures (FIFO).
• Participates in weekly Cycle Count as per established procedures.
• Receives all materials in the stockroom and stores in corresponding and marked locations.
• Notifies Supervisor and Buyers of items reaching reorder point level and /or critical stock conditions.
• Performs other tasks within the work area as instructed by the Supervisor or Designee.
• Maintains daily transactions of all the dispatched and received materials. Exercises maintenance of the WIP Kanban quantities.
• Performs sealing and moisture protection on surface mount components.

Expected Areas of Competence

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions and to deal with problems involving a few variables.
• The work requires routine walking, standing, bending, and carrying items weighing less than fifty pounds. Moving items over fifty pounds utilizes a team lift.
• Ability to perform basic math skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing two-digit numbers.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills and ability to follow oral and written instructions.

Education/Experience Requirements

• 1 year of experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
• High school diploma or equivalence
