Position Overview

This position is responsible for ordering all hospitality related items for all properties globally. This includes both ordering as well as the logistics and shipping responsibilities. This position will create forecasting tools in order to ensure all properties have the items they need to operate at all times. They will also be responsible for assessing whether to order items in country or ship centrally and then distribute. They are also responsible for receiving order hand offs from other company buyers and working with the vendors to ensure timely delivery of the product to its final destination.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks

• Re-establish vendor relationship with vendors for all globally stocked items and document these in a public vendor workbook in conjunction with the Global Retail and Brand Partnerships Manager
• Create a database of ordering and shipping information to provide the properties with the tools and support they need to run their business
• Create local sourcing guidelines with Ops manager and property leaders so there is a proper protocol to follow when comparing if an item should be ordered locally or centrally
• Oversee the central warehouse and maintain the movement of central inventory
• Responsible for purchasing all hospitality items for lodges globally including, but not limited to: linens, bath amenities, medicine, toiletries, snacks, games, etc.
• Oversee the set up and maintenance of a shipping and receiving station at the central warehouse
• Responsible for orchestrating all global shipments including customs paperwork and international shipping logistics as well as central receiving and packing. This will involve working from the central warehouse, currently located in Crested Butte, for several days at a time
• Assist with coding of invoices
• Work closely with Number 12 design team and Grassy Creek to reorder furnishings, fixtures, and equipment after initial property openings
• Organize reordering requirements for all globally stocked items. Assess current inventory and property needs for the next year. Build out an annual ordering schedule and standard operating procedure
• Act as the “go-to” point person for all property leaders relating to hospitality orders
• Analyze all in-lodge programming items in conjunction with Operations Managers and Property Leaders and advise on whether to source locally or ship from a central location. Establish partnerships with local suppliers where possible
• Create a standard for how property leaders and operations managers request a change of brand or product

Qualifications

• Experience with Partender, Salesforce, and Lightspeed
• Able to handle deadlines, demands, and competing priorities
• Knowledge of tariff codes, importation requirements, and freight carriers in order to negotiate rates and terms
• A bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or related field
• Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
• Ability to work in a global, dynamic team environment while communicating respectfully with culturally diverse team members
• High ethical standards which align with company values
• Ability to analyze and solve problems quickly and with precision
• 3-5 years of proven experience in logistics, sourcing, procurement, and project management

Work Requirements

• Willing and able to travel to both domestic and international destinations as needed
• Willing and able to travel to Crested Butte, Colorado on a regular basis to facilitate global shipping
• Ability to work on a computer/desk for extended periods of time
• Strong email management and prioritization skills
• Expertise in Google Suite

SALARY RANGE: $50,000-$65,000
