Purchasing Administrator Jobs

Job Summary:

The Purchasing Administrator is responsible for all aspects of the company's procurement process, including purchasing, supplier management, and cost analysis. They will work closely with various departments to ensure that materials, supplies, and equipment are procured in a timely and cost-effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable delivery of materials and services.
• Ensure that all procurement activities comply with company procedures.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities based on quality, cost, delivery, and service.
• Analyze data and provide reports on purchasing activities.
• Issue subcontracts and purchase orders with suppliers.
• Maintain vendor database by following up on requirements to keep vendors in active status.
• Work closely with accounting and operations.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• At least 2 years of experience in procurement and accounting
• Must be willing to travel when necessary
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Viewpoint, and other related software
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• On-call with weekend rotations
