Job Details

Responsibilities

• Prepares and issues Purchase Orders and change notices.
• Reviews Purchase Order claims and contracts for conformance to Company policy.
• Oversee and coordinate the flow of work within the department, managing both professional and administrative staff.
• Generate preliminary budgets and define product features and options.
• Conduct bidding processes for onsite construction and negotiate subcontractor increases as necessary.
• Ensure timely processing and receipt of vendor and national contract rebates.
• Negotiate and contract with subcontractors and vendors.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge with budgeting for homebuilding.
• Homebuilding industry background is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including spreadsheets and word processing.
• Strong working knowledge with purchasing and negotiating.
• Experienced in purchasing management.
• Strong delegation and organization skills.
• Ability to read blueprints.
