Public Relations Communications Assistant

The Brand-Agency is a full-service, entertainment marketing and public relations firm. Our mission is to communicate our clients' values to the right audience using authenticity. Every project and client is unique and our approach will invariably be as well. Our PR team generates worldwide exposure for clients of both talent and brands. We initiate exposure by integrating our brands into all aspects of pop culture, including digital, social media and print. We are seeking an executive PR assistant who can bring their passion for entertainment, knowledge of pop culture, communication, and positive attitude to our team.

This is a great space for those who are keen in pursuing a career within marketing, communications, public relations, or related fields. Executive PR Assistants will obtain knowledge of what this industry has to offer by way of hands-on experience, research assignments, social media, assisting in client events, and insight into diverse facets of the business. Currently, we are seeking an ambitious Executive PR Assistant for our Los Angeles office. The ideal applicant is a hardworking self-starter who stays organized, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a strong interest in a career in PR.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Putting together Social Media Calendars every week for our business pages
• Supporting accounts which consist ofpress clips, media lists, and research
• Assisting with Pitching clients to various media outlets
• Handling expenses
• Managing press clippings for clients
• Creating FedEx labels for clients, celebrities, and influencers
• Assisting with media outreach
• Generating Media Lists
• Scheduling appointments for NY Vice President
• Conducting Market research
• Deckbuilding
• Other admin-related tasks
• Co-leading our Internship Program
• Social media tracking

Requirements:

• Prior internship experience within an agency is a plus
• Relevant internship or job experience in PR, Media, Marketing, Communication Studies or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational and written skills are imperative
• Available full-time
• Enthusiastic, creative and eager to learn
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Must be based in LA and/or can commute to offices daily once we are officially in-office
• Superior attention to detail
