Psychiatric Scribe Jobs

The Psychiatric Scribe is responsible for understanding and navigating the electronic health records used. Documenting patient appointments with medical staff, completing documentation that adheres to Pennsylvania Medical Board and Medicare billing standards, entering medication orders, and collaborating practitioners. Plus, as time allows, general administrative duties (sending faxes, scheduling clients). The Medical Support Scribe provides administrative support to staff through a variety of tasks, such as faxing, and populating databases, following up on requests and medication orders. The Medical Support Staff works jointly with prescribing provider. The Medical Support Scribe upholds and promotes the organization philosophy in all duties performed.

High School diploma or equivalent. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel), and Adobe Acrobat. Self-sufficient, initiative and take charge skills. Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative work style and strong oral/written communication skills. Able to deal effectively with a variety of people and personality types regardless of age, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression or socio-economic level. Ability to handle intense situations, display good judgment and decision making skills, and remain calm and clearheaded under pressure. Well defined organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and flexibly.
