Summary of Job Duties:
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Psychiatric Research Institute inpatient units is consistently providing effective direct care to a variety of patients, working as part of the interdisciplinary team, based on licensure, title, and competencies. The RN seeks, as well as provides, feedback for improved clinical practice, and integrates theory and research into clinical practice. The RN provides leadership to members of the nursing team in order to maintain patient care standards. The RN works under the direct supervision of the Clinical Services Manager (CSM). Promotion may be passed on years of experience, satisfactory performance appraisals, and recommendation by their manager.
This Requisition will fill positions in the General Adult Inpatient Unit, the Women’s Inpatient Unit, the Child Diagnostic Unit, and the Pulaski County Crisis Stabilization Unit.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with an Associate’s Degree, Nursing Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, or Master’s Degree in Nursing
  • Strong work ethic and accountability
  • Valid RN License
  • Minimum of 1-year registered nursing experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
Preferred:
  • Current BLS
  • 2 or more years registered nursing experience
