What You’ll Do
As the Store Development Project Manager, you will be responsible for opening new stores, overseeing store remodels, and deploying fixture updates to existing stores. You will work cross functionally to coordinate internal and external partners to ensure that project and department milestones are met within budgetary constraints. This will include communicating with partners to develop new store set project and timeline, manage and support store remodels, coordinate seasonal ordering of replacement fixtures and deploy wide scale fixture re-allocations as needed.
  • On-site field Project Management and Supervision of field teams and project coordinators.
  • Manage fixture and sign hardware replenishment program for existing stores.
  • Work in collaboration with multiple departments to build and maintain the pre-opening checklists and schedules to ensure that new stores are opened on time and on budget.
  • Monitor and manage operations and departmental travel budgets as it pertains to new store sets and remodels.
  • Support store remodel presentation initiatives including vendor engagement and collaboration with purchasing to provide estimates, prototyping, and execute store rollouts.
  • Manage Weekly Communication on-site field work with project coordinators, field leaders, for new stores and remodels.
  • Oversee training and development of set leads and staff for new stores and remodel Projects.
  • Manage communications with field teams and home office for all projects.
  • Work within Capital and Non-Capital budget guidelines to support existing and new stores fixture orders, design, and floor planning needs, including select store test programs.
  • Coordinate all on-site field management for new store setup, labor schedules, and project scopes for store remodels.
What You’ll Bring
  • Proven leadership skills underpinned by strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel 60 hours per month.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to build partnership across departments.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in retail project management, or similar experience.
  • Ability to communicate to all levels of management, work collaboratively, and manage external relationships.
  • Bachelors degree in a related field.
  • Work Location: Hybrid. You will spend up to 3 days per week on average at our Alameda, CA Home Office.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office including advance level Excel skills.
  • Ability to identify complex problems and review information to develop options and implement solutions.

CA Pay Range is $100,000-$120,000 annually
