Project Manager (Remote-Us) Jobs

COMPENSATION: $88,000- $124,000 per year. You are eligible to a Short-Term Incentive/Sales Incentive Plan with the target at 7.5% of your annual earnings, terms and conditions apply.

JOB OVERVIEW:

The RaMP Project Manager is responsible for leading the achievement of project objectives and completion on time, on budget, and in conformance to RaMP’s project management methodologies and standards. The Project Manager will work with internal teams (R&D, BD, IT, bioinformatics, marketing, quality, and operations) and external pharma sponsors. This position includes updating overseeing the development efforts related to new products and/or updates to products that are be offered by RaMP.

The Project Manager works independently under general direction assuming primary responsibility for planning, directing, coordinating and delivering project activities through the entire project life cycle. This role will have the opportunity to manage projects across the business. The Project Manager will be part of the RaMP Project Management Organization (PMO).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepares project plans, financial analysis, schedules and budgets by using project management tools and by working with appropriate staff to understand tasks necessary to complete a project.
• Lead project teams of moderate and complex projects.
• Resolves project issues by working with internal and external team members, project customers, and others as appropriate.
• Influences middle management on technical or business solutions.
• Communicates project status by preparing standard status reports / meeting minutes, and by participating in PMO and customer project status update meetings.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer, engineering, life or physical science

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:

• Experience in scheduling tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or Excel Gantt
• Experience with an enterprise project manager tool such as Project Online, Clarity, or Confluence
• Wide application of technical principles, practices, and procedures. Strong understanding of business unit function and cross group dependencies/relationships.
• PMP certification is desired
• Demonstrated knowledge of operational/logistical aspects of lab settings, or an equivalent regulated environment
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrated success working with a team. Must be able to influence without authority
• Excellent customer and service focus
• Experience with product development, assay development, assay validation highly desired

EXPERIENCE:

• 2+ years of project management experience in life sciences preferred
• Experience with product development, assay development, assay validation highly desired
• 6+ years of related work experience
• Experience working within the pharma industry desired
• 2+ years of project management experience
