Job Description
Expertise And Functions


  • Provide guidance/solutions to the integrated program team as necessary
  • Communicate contractual needs and delivery schedules to internal stakeholders and team members
  • Ensure contractual needs/concerns are addressed
  • Provide regular program status updates and performance reports to senior management
  • Effectively lead and motivate a diverse team
  • Learn, apply, and correlate knowledge across disciplines (engineering, logistics, and financial management) to achieve project execution in accordance with assigned cost, schedule & performance requirements
  • Identify associated risks concerning the manufacturability of the deliverable product
  • Assist in program planning, execution, and performance monitoring
  • Communicate program cost drivers, schedule, and performance with management
  • Participate in company program reviews
  • Assist in the development of technical requirements that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints
  • Perform specific, routine project or technical tasks within defined scope of responsibility
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Demonstrate solid understanding of material planning and staff planning per the contractual delivery schedule of the project
  • Perform project/technical management for assigned subsystem(s)
  • Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day activities of the program, ensuring adherence to contractual requirements and timelines
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize program performance and achieve cost savings
  • Effectively address project challenges and achieve desired outcomes by utilizing strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Handle complex projects by utilizing exceptional organizational and project management abilities


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 5+ years of Acquisition Management experience with Government or Industry, at least 3 years of which should be in a Defense acquisition program as either a program or project manager required
  • Experience:
  • High school diploma required
  • Education/Training (both required and desired):
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
