Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing medium to complex projects. The Project Manager will develop and execute comprehensive project plans that embrace best practices, including but not limited to scope and risk management, change management, quality management, effective communication plans, requirements management, and securing all necessary resources needed to achieve the project objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Researches, plans, communicates and achieves objectives through project team.
  • Ensures compliance with contract and corporate requirements including quality measures and quality assurance standards.
  • Defines and measures project milestones, effectively prioritizing deliverables and managing cross-project dependencies to meet delivery goals.
  • Conducts and facilitates effective project meetings, including issue tracking, status reports, and executive communications.
  • Acts as an advocate for the business by providing first class service through development of the project management discipline; lends knowledge to the project team and stakeholders; and ensures customer satisfaction through quality and timely product delivery.
  • Plans, organizes, completes, and presents assessments of project management concepts, analyses, studies, and procedures.
  • Evaluates implications of existing or proposed projects, programs, processes, and policies/laws and recommends improvements.
  • Conducts regular project reviews with project leaders and shared service team leaders to ensure accomplishment of key results.
  • Plans, documents and executes all phases of the project life-cycle, including scope management, cost management, resource management, requirements management, work breakdown schedule and timeline management, priority and dependency management, project integration planning, vendor management, and the assignment of roles and responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to establish project goals and objectives that support the strategic plan.
  • Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
  • Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated strong customer and service focus.
  • 2+ w/Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to effectively identify and manage project risks.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet close deadlines.
  • Proficient in project planning and life cycle development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Base Pay Information
The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity. $70,000 - $146,600
