TractEasy is a driverless tow-tractor that not only facilitates a significant increase in productivity, efficiency, labor and maintenance savings but also allows enhanced safety and process compliances. The TractEasy mission is to move freight in an autonomous manner, under the supervision of dedicated fleet manager software, from terminal to terminal, or terminal to aircraft.

Position Summary

Smart Airport Systems is looking for a motivated individual, interested by innovative transportation and technologies. We are revolutionizing the freight transportation on airports with the autonomous tractor TractEasy and this position is your chance to jump on-board. You will be the Project Manager for one our most strategic TractEasy project, with the end goal to make it a commercial success. For that, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Accountable for the growth and the scaling-up of the project.
• Understand client's requirements, making sure of the overall fit between product capabilities and market expectations.
• Act as the main point of contact (local person in charge) with the client and manage the relationship.
• Grow the Deployment team with provision of coaching, training and guidance.
• Supervise the local Deployment team (2 engineers) and ensure quality of work and tasks on schedule.
• Define objectives, requirements, and assumptions necessary to structure the project.
• Keep track of the project budget.
• Develop tasks and project tactics in-line with TractEasy Program strategy.
• Manage the schedules & roasters on-site.
• Coordination of internal and external stakeholders throughout the life of the project, from refined specs writing, tests & validation of new functionalities, to deployment into operations.

Being the local orchestrator of a large & fast evolving project, you will have to dive into the technological challenges of our Autonomous Vehicle technology.

Preferred Experience

You are an experienced project manager with a solid technical / engineering background. You will thrive in this position if you enjoy having both responsibility and a direct exposure to many senior and diverse counterparts.

• Political sense to enrich the relationship with senior executives from large industrial partners throughout the ups and downs of a complex project.
• Energy, and ability to create and sustain a high level of commitment and passion from all stakeholders.
• Ability to lead large and multi-year projects and ensure the respect of timeline and budget.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and decentralized environment.
• Ability to interact, understand and align priorities with highly technical managers and experts.
• Passion for technology, curiosity, and creativity to challenge the status quos.

Prerequisites

• Strong scientific background with engineering degree.
• Bachelor’s degree
• Strong attention to detail and prioritization
• Minimum of 3 years (ideally 5 years) of experience in project management (multi-years, complex project with stakeholder’s management).
