TheProject Engineerposition with our firm is a salaried position thatrequires an undergraduate degree from a Civil Engineering Program. The position includes oversight of on-going restoration and construction projects including Project Management and Construction Administration, Field Testing, Building Envelope Reviews, Report Writing, and Design and Development of Construction Documents for Restoration Projects.

AProject Engineerwith our firm isrequired to have an undergraduate degree in civil engineering. Salary will be based on experience where applicable.

In addition, the Project Engineer position is a position that is designed for an employee with the intention of seeking full professional licensure within the state of Texas, Florida and/or other states where RJH provides services.

The Project Engineer will execute Quality control and assurance services from coast to coast in both Canada and the USA on multi-family construction projects and condominium projects. The Project Engineer should be able to look at drawings, plans and specifications, and discern from correct construction and deficient construction. And, where necessary, on the fly (and with assistance from senior staff) come up with solutions to problems encountered on site.

Our standard work office schedule for the office is Monday through Thursday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm and Fridays 8:00am to 12:00pm.

However, particular projects, travel to projects on commercial airlines early in the morning or returning from a project later in the evening may require different hours based on their travel/construction schedule.

Full-time employees, unless taking approved PTOs, SST, or Bereavement work exclusively for RJH during the work hours and during the work week. Typically, extra hours beyond the standard work week will be required of you and typically hours outside of the normal office hours are worked in order to accomplish various tasks. The position may require travel frequently for a portion of any given week to travel to a project to perform on-site work whether for an investigation, design, meeting or on-site review. When you are not traveling for RJH, you will be working in the office.
