Project Engineer Jobs

We are looking for a person that is capable of thinking outside the box, understands multi staged construction projects, is detailed oriented with experience heavy civil construction. The position is a leader at the jobsite, and is directly accountable for the safety, financial performance, and team development on site. This position will integrate with the project team and either focus on structures work or roadway work depending on your strengths and desires. This position is responsible to build and maintain a strong relationship with the subcontractors, owner, suppliers and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Processes owner billings and project related accounting issues
• Ensure project plan is moving forward to meet anticipated deadlines
• Assist with on-site management to ensure project success
• Responsible for RFI and submittal process

· Coordination of subcontractors

· Survey and project layout

· Weekly pictures for progress reports

· Manage construction equipment

· Safety management

· Project estimating

Qualifications

• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
• 1 - 3 years' of experience as a project coordinator, project engineer, or project manager
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience
• Strong experience in AutoCad and Microsoft Office Suite
