Project Engineer (Railway) - New York, Ny

Context
To strengthen the IKOS team in the US, we are looking for Project Engineers who will be in charge of a team of engineers working on design and application design on a large infrastructure rail project.
Responsibilities

• Collect all the information, interfaces, and project-related formalities.
• Coordinate with all the other stakeholders in the project (final clients, internal clients, suppliers)
• Coordinate a team of design, test engineers
• Identify critical activities.
• Establish the schedule
• Provide expertise related to NYCT Signal Standards (ex. 733 signal codes)
• Assist the team in technical solutions and decisions.
• Create, organize, and animate reporting to the Project Directors
• Perform design checks for interlockings, relay logic, signal drawings

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the transit and railroad role (preferably signal and train controls [CBTC, PTC, Interlocking])
• A Bachelors degree or a Master’s Degree in Science or Engineering
• Must have experience working on NYCT Signal Projects
• Must have work authorization in the United States
• Must be able to check complete aspect charts (braking distances, average grades, curvature/elevation)
• Must have communication skills, listen, learn, and be proactive.
• You ideally have work authorization for the US
