Main Role

Harris Construction is searching for a Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager
with extensive experience in both Field Management and Preconstruction to join
our team in the Fresno County area.

Responsibilities, Authorities, and Key Result Areas

• Monitoring coordination of subcontractors to fulfill the requirements of the

schedule

• Implement administrative activities to ensure the efficient execution of

project contract(s)

• Ensure all on-site administrative procedures are consistent with Company-

wide practices.

• Maintain a current CPM Schedule for the jobsite, document RFIs,

submittals, keep accurate records of all owner requests, contract changes,
and more

• Responsible for the weekly and bi-weekly tracking of meeting minutes for

projects in preconstruction

• Responsible for processing of all change orders, internal contract

adjustments and subcontract adjustments.

• Coordinate with Owners, Architects and consultants related to design,

constructability review, value engineer tracking

• Work with our Estimating department on budget updates
• Responsible for monitoring cost versus budget and taking corrective action

with the Architect on matters of administration, requests for information
and documentation with respect to Architect’s directives.

• To assist in every way in helping the Project Manager deliver to the Owner

a project with a high degree of quality (to the extent of that specified) on
time and within the budget prescribed.
