• Just as personal computers have done over the past 45 years, AR and VR will ultimately change everything about how we work, play, and connect.
• Client is developing all the technologies needed to enable breakthrough AR glasses and VR headsets, including optics and displays, computer vision, audio, graphics, brain-computer interfaces, haptic interaction, eye/hand/face/body tracking, perception science, and true telepresence.
• Client is seeking someone to manage our partnerships to ensure smooth and effective procurement of parts and services including vendor onboarding, SOW support, PO creation, expense tracking, and equipment tracking.
• The Client Reality Labs (RL) Research Audio Team brings together a world-class team of researchers, developers, and engineers to create the future of virtual and augmented reality, which together will become as universal and essential as smartphones and personal computers are today.

Duties:
Vendor onboarding:

• Facilitate onboarding and assessment for new vendors
• Educate team members on the process and timeline estimates
• Learn and keep up-to-date on internal processes

Procurement:

• Support Supplier Invoicing and troubleshooting
• Ensure cross reference with budget to enable efficient expense tracking
• Troubleshoot issues with POs, invoices, accounts payable
• Facilitate and support process for creating new Purchase Orders (POs) including Statement of Work documents (SOWs), contracts, and the PO creation itself

Project Management:

• Manage, organize, and administer ad hoc engineering, research, and user studies projects
• Provide coaching to help teams to run projects autonomously
• Create and continuously improve project management tools, project management best practices documents, and Project Coordinator training materials

Equipment and Building logistics:

• Facilitate organization of lab equipment for easy discoverability and maintenance
• Support movement of equipment between labs and buildings
• Interface with facilities to ensure support for team’s lab and storage needs
• Ensure consistent use of equipment inventory tracking tool so there is an accurate record for the location of all equipment and prototypes

Team support:

• Onboard new team members using our onboarding process
• Provide logistics support for teamwide events

Skills:
Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to work with researchers, engineers, and cross functional team members, and with internal/external partners
• 3 plus years of experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, or equivalent software
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex technical content into precise, impactful dashboards and reporting
• Extremely organized, detail-oriented, strives for perfection
• 3 plus years experiences working with suppliers and procurement systems
• Ability keep up in a fast paced dynamic environment
• Strong verbal communication skills - the ability to influence support for the team
• Excellent writing skills – the ability to clearly communicate by providing concise and impactful reports from working level through senior management

Desired Experience:

• Google Suite, Gantt/Timeline, MS Project or Similar Project Management software
• Experience with analytical software such as Minitab, JMP
• Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Domestic / international supplier relationships and IP related logistics

Education:

• BA in English or BA/BS in Scientific field with 3-5 years industry experience

Pay Range: $40 - $45
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
