Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Project Administrator who can help contribute to the overall excellence of work coming from the firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing workload – prioritizing work and ensuring deadlines are met
• Meeting coordination and documentation - reservations & set-up, as needed. Attend meetings, if necessary, for taking minutes and documenting other information
• Construction Documentation/Administration Phases tasks include file sharing, print coordination, logging RFIs & submittals, QA/QC documents stamping and coordination
• Project Close-Out tasks include dead filing and punch lists
• Special duties and projects, as assigned or necessary including coverage of other coordinators and front desk reception
• Assist with team travel coordination
• Project Start-Up tasks including contracts, proposal letters, work authorizations, creation and/or maintenance of project directories, cloud-based file sharing sites, opening project and sub-project numbers
• Coordinate with vendors, project team and clients to organize project documents and drawings

Required Skills, Experience & Education

• Ability to manage and delegate a multitude of tasks, assignments and changing priorities efficiently
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• General understanding of state and federal codes as it applies to construction and design
• Experience with ERP software such as Deltek
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience at an architecture or construction firm
• Strong organizational skills
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Plan Grid and Box
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related field or background in construction or related fields
• General understanding of building materials and methods
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite, particularly MS Word and MS Excel

• Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and Sketchup a plus, but not require

Benefits

At the time of posting this job, the hiring range for this position in Seattle is between $70,000 and $74,000 annually. Final salary decisions are made based upon the candidate’s education and experience and considering internal equity and external market factors.
