Responsibilities


Under minimum supervision, the Project Analyst provides support of project control functions. The position collects and maintains data on project activities, project files and customer deliverables; reviews and reports on weekly project workflow and milestones; prepares project status analysis and reporting. The Project Analyst supports the goals and objectives of project management and the project team to complete projects within planned scope, schedule, and budget, while serving as a liaison for the project and management. This position is responsible for assisting individual project participants with resources and guidance for documentation, scheduling of project activities, and status reporting. The position will participate in assessment of completed project deliverables and the development of future project work products. The work is highly independent and may assume a team lead role for special project work groups. The project analyst position requires a positive attitude, attention to detail, the ability to motivate people, set priorities, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.


Minimum Qualifications


  • Excellent oral and written skills are required
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook) is required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management or related field is required, a Master's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Ability to facilitate sessions and keep the conversation on track is a requirement
  • Must have excellent grammar and punctuation skills, including the ability to compose letters and reports that are grammatically correct and properly formatted
  • Requires ability to work on multiple projects with varying deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities is required
  • Must be self directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal skills is a requirement
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Five years relevant professional experience; recent experience in project management, planning, administration, coordination and contract compliance tracking
  • Requires excellent collaborative skills and ability to maintain positive work relationships
  • Strong understanding of project management is required
  • Requires ability to navigate complex project and customer relationships
