Job Description

Job Requirements


  • Contribute to the Key Results of the organization from a leadership perspective.
  • Provide overall leadership to Family Support Services.
  • Identify any additional needed services and supports families and caregivers indicate are either absent or unavailable.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality services and supports which meet a supported individual’s needs as a member of their family unit, within the parameters of both the Agency’s Mission & Values and Regional Center authorization.
  • Develop and implement training programs for both staff and families.
  • Ensure the accuracy of all billing, payroll, and financial reports
  • Represent the Family Services department at all administrative functions.
  • Act as a mentor and role model for all Family Services staff for socially acceptable and culturally valued ways to interact and support staff and persons/families receiving support services.
  • Serve as a member of the Senior Leadership Team
  • Monitor the provision of all services and supports provided.
  • Continually look for innovative ways to support people and opportunities to improve or expand the services Jay Nolan provides.
  • Work with the Regional Centers to ensure on-going authorization of funding.
  • Furnish monthly report on program activities to the Chief Executive Officer.

Work Experience


  • Possess a Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
  • Ability to multi-task, with good leadership and management skills in strategic planning, service delivery, and team building.
  • Ability to use Smart Phone, laptop, and other technology as needed.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and persuasively.
  • Ability to be an effective team member.
