Job Description

Program Manager - Learning and Development

Location: Richmond, VA

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

(Hybrid Schedule with 2-3 days onsite)


The Tech Learning and Development team aims to transform our approach to equipping all associates, plus current and future leaders, with the skills and knowledge they need to support our associates in delivering great things. We strive to deliver impactful and engaging learning experiences that directly enable the success of our people and our business. This individual will have a strategic eye for combating arbitrary uniqueness by leveraging already existing resources and implementing enhancements only when necessary. The individual who fills this role should have a focus on delivering efficient, reliable, resilient, scalable, and high performing learning solutions.

This role will primarily focus on leadership development and people leadership skill development for Tech associates with opportunities to expand to other areas long term - this will require the individual to consult, design, develop, deliver, manage, and analyze learning experiences for associates. The individual will play a critical role in making sure our learning experiences are designed with user and business objectives in mind. The learning experiences this associate will support are blended, target diverse learners, and include modalities such as video, animation, instructor-led training, simulations, and other e-learning content. The person selected, will think creatively, and continuously be on the top of their game in a supportive environment where the learner and client are top of mind.

Responsibilities

  • Work on individual and team projects, own and solve problems, and partner to design and implement new processes
  • Vendor/Relationship Management as required
  • Measure impact. You will identify the meaningful measurement for the learning program, track and iterate accordingly sharing with stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage communications with learners, leaders, and stakeholders
  • Understand current learning needs and gaps in order to recommend the most appropriate learning solutions, leveraging internal and external SMEs
  • Co - Design/develop training content and job aids; includes creation and editing of training materials - in partnership with Enterprise learning teams
  • Light facilitation and logistic support for virtual learning experiences
  • Strong customer focus, anticipating customer needs and partnering to make decisions that have a positive impact
  • Curate and support virtual learning experiences for large scale audiences
  • Consulting: Work with business clients to determine learning needs and provide learning solutions for their consideration to implement
  • Collaborate with internal partners across lines of business and within HR to support meeting the organization's skill development needs.
  • Autonomously solve problems through critical thinking and implementing through resolution.

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience supporting a virtual classroom
  • At least 1 year of experience in learning event planning and delivery
  • At least 1 year of experience in client consulting
  • At least 2 years of experience in learning and development OR human resources OR a combination
  • At least 2 years of experience in program or project management/coordination
  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in Training Design
  • At least 2 years of experience delivering large scale learning programs (virtual and hybrid)
  • At least 2 years of experience in Development Delivery
