Job Description

Overview

The Professional Services Onboarding Specialist is a member of the team responsible for the implementation of product services and the ongoing data file exchange support for FDS customers. A successful Onboarding Specialist can provide our existing customers with an excellent implementation experience, ensure timely resolution of payer and file exchange issues, and maintain professional business partner relationships. Effective communications with our customers and business partners are key along with the ability to inform management of problems and situations which the representative cannot resolve (e.g., customer issues, software, or processes). The Specialist supports our delivery of knowledgeable insights delivered in a friendly and prompt manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain excellent client relationships
  • Maintain satisfactory attendance in accordance with company policy.
  • Promote and adhere to company mission, core values and vision.
  • Capable of identifying and completing tasks independently and with a sense of urgency.
  • Maintain a high accuracy level for all data entry.
  • Organize and manage multiple issues and projects simultaneously while maintaining deadlines
  • Maintaining a schedule of pre-determined email communication while also creating and sending unique responses and inquiries
  • Adhere to HIPPA guidelines/regulations to maintain confidentiality in record keeping.
  • Meet and exceed service level agreements
  • Log all customer communication within the call tracking system.
  • Collaborate with management and coworkers to research problems and find solutions.
  • Collaborate with management to provide recommendations to improve processes, or to create new ones.
  • Work with customers to obtain required documentation to contract with payers during the customer activation process.
  • Process all documentation according to company and department policies.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent attendance and punctuality required.
  • Ability to manage stressful situations.
  • Must be able to successfully communicate with all levels of employees in the organization.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Ability to take tasks to completion with a keen attention to detail.
  • Beginner or intermediate knowledge of cloud-based webinar applications
  • A positive professional manner and appearance.
  • Manage difficult or emotional customer situations; respond promptly to customer or team needs.
  • Proficiency in general office automation including operation of Sfax application, copy machines, and multi-line phone systems.
  • Excellent customer service, and oral and written communication skills. Comfortable working with clients, providers, partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
  • Minimum typing speed of thirty-five (35) words per minute and ten-key by touch.
  • Ability to understand and apply standard operating procedures.
  • Ability to establish/maintain cooperative working relationships with staff and customers.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Prioritize and plan work activities; use time efficiently.
  • Self-starter, capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Treat people with respect; uphold organizational values.

Basic Qualifications:

  • In lieu of College Degree, applicants must meet all following requirements: High School Diploma/GED, 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, a minimum two years of data entry experience within a insurance, finance, or acute/non-acute healthcare system.
  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • BA/BS degree (Finance, Economics, Business related)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual English/Spanish (fluent)
  • Intermediate knowledge of payer transaction formats
  • Bachelors in one of the following: Project Management, Business Administration, Organizational Development and Leadership, Adult Learning and Education.
  • Pharmacy or DME industry knowledge
