The Production Operations Manager helps lead our national proposal team. This team drives firm growth by developing compelling and compliant proposals and other sales collateral for industry groups across the firm. The Production Operations Manager has the day-to-day responsibility for our proposal traffic and request system, properly leveraging team resources/talent, and managing related workflows on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with other team managers to coordinate across other proposal team functions on strategic objectives, with the goal of unifying and strengthening efforts supporting overall sales and marketing team goals and firm growth
- Work with cross-departmental leaders, design and continually improve and innovative a resource management approach that considers our document production function, technology, and other talent and resources to meet the firm’s overall needs
- Independently identify and help resolve issues that may prevent the team from working effectively and efficiently
- Drive resource deployment for the firm’s national proposal team, helping to manage and oversee team development and performance while ensuring appropriate staffing level is in place to provide exceptional sales support
- Continuously develop expertise and stay up-to-date in related functions by attending workshops, reviewing professional publications, and networking, particularly within the professional services industry
- Manage, coach, and develop our document production team, which is responsible for project intake and assigning, first drafts, and quality control reviews in addition to other responsibilities
- Work with broader sales operations leadership to analyze data as well as evaluate and refine the proposal team’s processes, tools, and workflows impacting speed and productivity
- Proactively communicate to ensure that best practices are shared across the team and its internal clients, administer firm and team policies and procedures, and recommend new processes where appropriate
- Collaborate with proposal team management to ensure consistent and proper allocation of team resources, monitor bandwidth, and plan for seasonality
- Manage and/or coordinate updates to the proposal request system, evaluate overall project management of proposal pipeline, and monitor the team’s ability to negotiate and/or communicate effectively with firm professionals to navigate proposal demand
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of resource management and/or sales and marketing, or related experience in a complex organization required; including demonstrated involvement with building and leading high-performing teams and fostering an inclusive culture; experience in a public accounting or professional services environment preferred
- Strong executive presence and demonstrated leadership skills, good judgment, and ability to effectively interface with employees and leaders at all levels within the firm
- Ability to travel as needed, approximately 5%
- Experience coaching and managing a team including managing the work or remote team members
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint)
- Adaptable to a changing environment; champions change and influences others to change
- Self-directed professional with strong interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to direct, manage, and review the work of others
- Experience with using Microsoft Dynamics CRM and/or PowerBI preferred
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required, emphasis in business administration or a related field preferred

This is the typical range of pay for the position; however, actual pay may vary based on experience, skillset, and location. This position may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
