About the Role:

The Style Guide fosters an exciting and inspirational environment while delivering a best-in-class store experience. This is role is a temporary project assignment and reports to the Store Director.

Your Day to Day*:

• Support in the maintenance of a neat and tidy sales floor to ensure a positive shopping experience inclusive of folding, hanging, displaying, and merchandising garments per brand guidelines to maximize selling opportunities
• Retain and communicate detailed fashion and product knowledge, prepare merchandise to be presented on the sales floor, display an energetic and positive attitude, and foster an inspiring in-store experience
• Partner with lead style guide, and colleagues to form a cohesive team focused on creating an energetic, exciting, and inspirational instore experience
• Actively sell and style our products and offer fit advice to our customers.
• Work in accordance with H&M standards and local legislation with health & safety and security routines, to guarantee you, your colleagues, and customer safety at all times
• Follow all procedures and routines regarding safety, security, and administrative processes in all areas of the store
• Identify ways to personalize the experience of each guest by sharing brand direction and influences
• Operate the POS system, handling cash and all credit/debit transactions (including exchanges and returns)

• Ability to lift in excess of 20 pounds
• Passionate about delivering a superior customer experience
• Strong communication skills with ability to engage with varying customer types
• You are social and outgoing and have an intrinsic passion for meeting new people and creating relationships
• 3-5 years of relevant experience, luxury retail fashion experience preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, stretch, engage in repetitive motions, push, pull and carry items (mannequins, clothing, totes, torsos, etc.) for a short distance
• Skilled at using multiple channels of technology to enhance the customer experience with a desire to learn and adapt to technology needs with agility
• Must be able to work a flexible work schedule including nights and weekends
• Ability to climb a ladder and use a step stool
• Strong fashion knowledge with a passion for styling and catering to customers on a personal level
• Possess broad range of product knowledge across all categories of the brand, takes initiative to stay informed to maximize selling potential.

Job Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt

Compensation: Style Guides Start at $24.00 per hour**
