Description

Triage, an award-winning and top-ranked medical staffing agency experiencing unprecedented growth, is seeking a Product Owner. Headquartered in Omaha, NE, with an additional office in Loveland, OH, Triage is at the forefront of the healthcare industry, connecting thousands of traveling healthcare providers with facilities across all 50 states.

We are looking for a Product Owner who is passionate about maximizing the value delivered by our agile development teams through proper prioritization and alignment of the backlog defined by the roadmap features and stakeholder needs. The Product Owner will drive relentless improvement within their team through continuous delivery of new and improved features as guided by the product roadmap.

This role offers a flexible work arrangement, with the option to work remotely, hybrid, or in-office at our offices in Omaha or Cincinnati.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and prioritize the team’s product backlog for alignment with the overall product roadmap.
  • Participate in System Acceptance Testing (SAT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as needed.
  • Leveraging the product roadmap, investigate and define product feature specifications to review and scope with agile team members.
  • Analyze information and feedback compiled from various sources including end users and Support to better evaluate current and projected needs of the business in conjunction with product management.
  • Serve as the voice of the end user for the team by managing key relationships and continuously seeking to understand workflows, processes and objectives with stakeholders.
  • Oversee, monitor, and evaluate product progress throughout all stages of product development.
  • Understand the medical staffing industry, including emerging trends, competitor offerings, and overall customer needs.
  • Participate in all scrum ceremonies, including daily standup, backlog refinement, and planning.
  • Serve as product ambassador, sharing knowledge and insights into current and future product features with product management and stakeholders.
  • Develop user stories based on the defined feature requirements.

Qualifications

  • Three (3) or more years of experience in product development; preferred as Product Owner.
  • In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development methodology; preferred if in SAFe
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with Jira, Azure Devops or other project management tools and technology.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a related discipline.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Technology or, a similar relevant field. Or equivalent.
  • Previous Product Owner experience preferred.
  • Experience and/or understanding of working in agile/scrum methodology.
