Job Description


Join Intel Information Technology (IT) as a Product Owner-Demand Forecasting/Planning! The Demand and Supply Planning Data and Analytics group within the Supply Chain IT is responsible for providing data and analytics solutions to increase the efficacy and efficiency of Intel's planning processes, including product roadmap, demand, supply, inventory, sales/revenue, financial, capital, and pricing planning.

The primary responsibility for this role will be to enable and transform Demand Planning data and analytics solution for Intel's core business groups and foundry. In this role, you will be working with business stakeholders from multiple domains. Key partners for this role included business operations team, Finance, Supply Chain, and peer IT teams .

The ideal candidate will be inquisitive, motivated, and have a strong affinity for problem-solving using a combination of business process knowledge, acumen, data/analytics skills to enable process transformation by leveraging technology.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead user acceptance testing and TCM where applicable
  • Ensure alignment of transformation with relevant enterprise level initiatives
  • Gather business requirements from stakeholders across Business Units, regions, and Finance
  • Work with stakeholders to define, prioritize, deploy, sustain, enhance, and when needed sunset process capabilities
  • Validates feasibility of an idea, understands the user expectations from the product, conducts design due diligence, evaluates business value and risks
  • Translates business strategy and objectives into process roadmaps
  • Deliver data and analytics solutions to augment the effectiveness of demand planning and forecasting processes
  • Maintains/Builds stakeholder relationships and effectively communicate across teams
  • Keeps abreast with the latest process trends in forecasting and planning processes

Qualifications


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.


Minimum Qualifications


The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 6+ years of experience -OR- a Master's in Computer Science or related field and 4+ years of experience in:

  • Designing and deploying data and analytical solutions using SQL and SAP HANA
  • Requirements gathering, systems/business analysis, process mapping, solution acceptance testing and deployment
  • IT Product Owner
  • Demand/Supply planning (Sales and Operation Planning ) in Semiconductor industry or high-tech industry.
  • Troubleshooting skills to find root-cause and recommend and apply solutions
  • Product backlog management, feature definition, requirements analysis, functional design/specifications, solution delivery, testing, user training, TCM (transition change management)
  • Project/Program Manager


Preferred Qualifications

  • Agile development methodology
  • Supply Chain analytics enabled using software solutions such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Foundry planning processes will be an advantage.
  • Experience with statistical/AI/ML algorithms will be a plus
  • Designing and deploying data and analytical solutions using Azure and Snowflake

Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $112,760.00-$169,240.00
  • Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience


Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
