Job Overview:

  • Identify and offer suggestions to improve efficiency
  • Responsible for adapting the sales price in the assigned region and products. Focal point for adhoc discount requests and in alignment with the discount guideline if applicable for the product line.
  • Support development effort of new business capabilities
  • Single point of contact in the region for opportunities across product lines and for single product lines
  • Support Customer Solutions and IMS in driving Contract bids for especially competitive products through alignment on overall margin targets for the business case
  • Drive the sales of OEM products in a region as an integrated part of the sales process
  • Support and give input to AOP, Budget and forecasts process
  • Drive Business Development initiated initiatives of new product launch
  • Update of CRM leads based on gap analysis and selected campaigns (in alignment with OEM PM)
  • Drive a coordinated sales effort across product lines
  • Drive across product line sales initiatives incl. building the sales pipeline targets for these with Commercial
  • Participate and support OEM QBRs and support QBR meetings with market and customer feed-back
  • Own and drive the product marketing plan per region in coordination with Marketing
  • Support and provide input to the long-term product line business plans
  • Drive and develop sales in the assigned region
  • Lead the regional sales meeting from a product management point of view - secure the agenda for the Product Management scope
  • Understanding, sharing and living of Satair Group values and rules
  • Responsible and owner of CRM pipeline targets per region to ensure target values are met and follow-up on same with Commercial and Product Management
  • Responsible for Order Intake, Sales and profit for assigned product lines in the regions.
  • Comply with Satair Group's mission, values and Quality Management procedures
  • Comment/advise on unsatisfactory situations within the organization, and propose potential solutions for improvements
  • Respect Satair Group processes and procedures agreed per function
  • Responsible for contract follow-up with sales
  • Participate in optimizing Satair Group's business procedures by applying existing Satair Group's IT systems
  • Support strategic initiatives
  • Lead the product quotes and contracts quotes. On large contracts quotes alignment needs to be in place between Market Product Manager and OEM product manager
  • Drive specific sales cases and customer visits in coordination with the OEM PMs
  • Be well informed about and familiar with the latest developments in Satair Group's business
  • Keep the direct report informed of the status of agreed tasks and of any critical problem areas
  • Lead external regional sales meetings
  • Drive the Marketing Plan
  • Comply with Satair Group's guidelines on Ethics & Compliance


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree. Experience in the aviation business understanding specifically in the area of spares support, supply chain management, maintenance, understanding of support obligations from aircraft purchase agreements
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed profitability targets consistently
  • Knowledge about the product management discipline
  • Strong Business Acumen
  • Commercial education or an engineering degree combined with a commercial understanding, or 3-5 years of product, program or supply chain management experience
  • Strong business acumen
  • Ability to balance and align varying interests of stakeholders
  • Diplomatic sense and open/'out-of-silo' mind-set, ability to build successful relations across functions and with all stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong team player
