Product Design Intern Jobs

As a Product Design Intern at Skilbi, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our user-centric platform, shaping the future of career exploration and mentorship. You will work closely with our experienced design team and have hands-on involvement in various stages of the product design process.

NOTE: This is an unpaid internship

Responsibilities:

• Conduct user research to gain insights into user needs, pain points, and behaviors, translating them into intuitive design solutions.
• Contribute to the maintenance of our design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across the platform.
• Assist in usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate on designs and enhance the user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and developers, to ensure the successful implementation of designs.
• Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design concepts and interactions.
• Collaborate with the design team to create user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces for our web and mobile platforms.
• Stay up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and share your knowledge and insights with the team.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of design principles, user-centered design methodologies, and usability best practices.
• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively within a team.
• Pursuing a degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your design skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.
• Passion for user-centered design and a strong desire to make a positive impact in the education and career development space.
• Familiarity with prototyping tools like InVision, Marvel, or similar software.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software.
