Product Data Specialist Jobs

Job Summary Statement

As our Product Data Specialist, you'll work with the Product Development team to capture and itemize new product details to support new product setup and creation of the product Bill of Material (BOM). You'll steward the new item data for accuracy, timeliness, and completeness. Build strong positive relationships with the Product Team to support new product development efforts.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Act as the key contact for detailed product information by participating in weekly new product team meetings and proactively communicating & itemizing all relevant product information.
• Monitor cost-hold & mfg.-hold item status on new products to ensure product setup is not held up or delayed.
• Work closely with Master Data team and Product Configuration Analysts in providing new product details needed to support the creation of the new product bill of materials in Oracle.
• Ensure new item data is accurate and supports critical deadlines.
• Work closely with Product Managers & Project Managers in gathering all critical details of new products, ensuring the information is accurate and approved.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with data management
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work in a deadline driven environment
• Passion for product
• Strong attention to detail and process orientation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience
• Proficiency with MS Excel at an intermediate level

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with data management in Oracle
• Experience investigating, capturing, and maintaining product data
• Prior product (Hard side coolers, parts, and accessories) experience is beneficial
• 2+ years relevant work experience in a data management or reporting role
• Auditing of data and root cause analysis experience
