  • Submit annual filings by State driven due dates.

The Analyst will also prepare responses to objections and inquiries from Insurance Departments regarding product and/or compliance filings. This function requires you to: (a) review Department Of Insurance objections, analyze cited statutory reference, and revise forms and reports accordingly; (b) coordinate with other internal areas, if required, to respond to Department of Insurance’s questions; (c) in certain cases, and under the supervision of the Manager, explain the Company’s position regarding some aspect of the policy/service contract structure or language, or Company procedures, and negotiate with the State insurance examiner to arrive at the desired result.

The Analyst will complete all State Filing System requirements once an approval is received from the Department of Insurance such as, complete supplemental data, replacement, and marketed product association information, generate distribution memo, and publish information to internal users.

The Analyst will gather filings and provide responses to: (a) Market Conduct requests, (b) State Surveys, (c) Data Calls, (d) Litigation requests, (e) Department inquiries, and (f) Internal and External audits.
