Cost Analyst Jobs

LATAM Airlines is looking for a Cost Analyst based in Miami.

The mission of the Cost Analyst will be being the responsible one for build, maintain, organize and ensure compliance with the budget and operating cost indicators of the Northern region for the cargo and ground handling business using different tools, analysis, graphs and KPI's, presenting relevant information in a timely manner to regional and corporate executives for decision making and action plans.

Main responsibilities:

• Order, organize and manage the cost structure required by the region (ticket generation, services, suppliers).
• Carry out the analysis required by the executives of the Northern Region to achieve the area's goals and objectives.
• Meet monthly corporate cross-functional deliverables and be the connection between the operation and corporate teams.
• Being a link between the operational areas and the corporate cost needs locally and transversally.
• Elaborate and generate monthly cost and productivity review meetings to review the month and evolution in relation to operational cost management and compliance with the main KPI's.
• Audit and question budget compliance and how resources are managed in the region.
• Generation of analysis and feedback of the operation by requests or fixed periodical instances.

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of the operation and knowledge of SQL is a plus.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• At least 1 year of work experience.
• Excellent analytical and time management skills.
• Microsoft Office skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Finance or related field.
• Good communication skills with operations and corporate executives.
• Basic knowledge of management terms, cost structures and business models.
