Program Control Cost Analyst Intern

The Program Cost/Control Analyst Intern provides project management/administrative support and coordination to a contract, project, tasks, or business unit. Sets up cost control system, monitors and controls costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system. Performs analyses and prepares reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines. Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government.

Qualifications/Requirements (i.e., Education, Technical Skills)

• Demonstrated analysis proficiency utilizing MS Excel.
• Aptitude for detailed work, data analysis and follow-up.
• Requires working knowledge of issues involved in structuring new processes, strong quantitative abilities, and excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
• University Sr. or Graduate level student in accounting
