Procurement Analyst Jobs

Our Oil and Gas client is looking to add a Procurement Analyst to their team! This 6-12 month Contract position is located near Briarforest and has the option for Hybrid Flexibility The Ideal Candidate will be an skilled Purchaser with experience in the energy industry. Only Candidate currently residing in Houston, Texas will be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

• Receive purchase requisitions workflows and act with appropriate and necessary actions
• Effectively communicate information between vendors and necessary departments within the company
• Manage the Req-To-Pay Process
• Participate in the vendor qualification process
• Assist in the development of reports and presentations
• Maintain and manage PO Lifecycle – Create POs, modify POs, closeout old POs, run monthly PO value reports and take appropriate action
• Create Purchase Orders in SAP while ensuring appropriate contractual coverage
• Manage field ticketing issues and serve as first point of contact to suppliers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Purchaser or Buyer role
• 2+ years of experience in Oil and Gas Industry
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP or SAP Ariba
